One Way 04:33
There's a movie in her mind that starts to play this time of year She smells clover on the wind, and when she turns around he's here Propped up in the grass drinking red wine from a mug He sent ripples through this town, The night he took back his love But There was a moment when she thought he was the one Her fog was just lifting each morning when he sung But she was mistaken and the ties had come undone It was a one way kind of love There's a photo of them smiling and today it's coming down She sat waiting like a statue for his mind to come around There's sirens in the distance, blacktop's blurry just above he sent ripples through this town the night he took back his love But There was a moment when she thought he was the one Her fog was just lifting each morning when he sung But she was mistaken and the ties had come undone It was a one way kind of love It was a one way kind of love

Lately 04:22
I've been thinkin that we should move Say goodbye to everyone we know Pull on the highway 'round 4am Point the tires to New Mexico Out in the desert we can cut our hair Play songs on an old guitar Put a cactus on the window sill Watch the shadows move across the yard Watch the shadows move across the yard Cuz I don't know what has gotten into me lately Cuz I don't know what has gotten into me lately I saw a dog from across the plains He was runnin' just to run I poured some coffee and I closed my eyes I wasn't bothering anyone Bad thoughts come creeping like a tiny fish Making ripples in a great big pond What was serene now has something amiss Wish I could tell you what's been going on Wish I could tell you what's been going on But I don't know what has gotten into me lately I don't know what has gotten into me lately Got a lot to be happy about Most days it feels I've got the world by the balls But sometimes I'm just feeling sad And I don't even know what for I don't know what has gotten into me lately I don't know what has gotten into me lately Lately, Lately

Old Days 03:47
Way back before the hard times We took that trip out west The wheels they just kept rolling With the rise and the fall of your chest Before you left us, you took me surfing Woke up early and threw open the curtains Somewhere between, waking and a dream I thought I saw you coming my way We fell into some deep forgotten stream And just for a moment it felt like the old days Just like the old days The years they saw you drifting Somewhere just out of view My arms reached out to hold you But somehow you fell right through I wish that i could jump back in that picture Somewhere between, waking and a dream I thought I saw you coming my way We fell into some deep forgotten stream And just for a moment it felt like the old days Just like the old days Way back before the hard times Somewhere between, waking and a dream I thought I saw you coming my way We fell into some old familiar scene And just for a moment it felt like the old days Woah, Just like the old days Woah, Just like the old days Woah, Just like the old days

Heavy Heart 03:39
There's something in the way you smile Something about the way you laugh it off I'd been searching for some time For a way just to move past it all Without a heavy heart I could float across the room Without a heavy heart I'd have to tie myself to you Without a heavy heart I could catch the wind and float up past the trees With nothing much weighing on me Could be the metals in my blood that keep me weighed down on the bedroom floor Seems for years that's where I was 'Til you told me you'd "been there before" Without a heavy heart I could float across the room Without a heavy heart I'd have to tie myself to you Without a heavy heart I could catch the wind and float up past the trees With nothing much weighing on me I'm ready to let go, of all I've been holding I'm ready to move on, let's get going Without a heavy heart I could float across the room Without a heavy heart I'd have to tie myself to you Without a heavy heart I could catch the wind and float up past the trees With nothing much weighing on me

Broken 03:38
You left it all in an Instant The medicine was calling you again I was lying next to you sleepin When the spiders start to crawl around your skin We were young, we were stupid But we were Free We were Broken And I’m Still pickin up the pieces And I’m Still pickin up the pieces That you left behind Her darkness grew in silence Something about it made her fell much older She handled on her own time She never did what other people told her We were young, we were stupid But we were free We were broken We were sick, there were so many words unspoken We were Broken And I’m still pickin up the pieces And I’m still pickin up the pieces That you left behind And I’m still pickin up the pieces And I’m still pickin up the pieces That you left behind

He came to me in a dream Told me how I'm gonna die Hummed me a melody He had that look in his eyes Don't give up, don't give in Let your heart point you in The Right Direction The Right Direction What on earth could it mean? Am I running out of time? Real fast before I leave Am I losing my mind? No don't give up, don't give in Let your heart point you in The Right Direction The Right Direction

How Long 03:03
How could you? How Could you? How Could you do me this way? Why did you? Why did you? Why did you lead me astray? How long has this been going on? How Long? How Long? How long has this been going on? How do you, How do you How do you sleep the night? How is it, how is it, How is it knowing I'm right? How long has this been going on? How Long, How Long? How long has this been going on? How Long, How long? How long have been going wrong? Call me one day out of the blue Saying we should call it quits After everything that we've been through Why'd you have to pull that shit Give you everything that I've got to give Nothing's ever good enough All you ever gave me was a kick in the pants Now you're giving back my love

Already Won 02:36
What's the over, what's the under? I've been thinking, makes me wonder Just how long can we keep it together? We've been workin, we've been lazy I bet people think we're crazy Are we happy? Well how do you measure? If life is a race did we miss the gun? Or maybe baby have you ever thought that we've Already Won? We've been coastal, we've been westbound been through tunnels, kept our heads down played for rooms full of no one at all We've sung songs with feeling, we've floated past the ceiling I could see your house, but it was so small! If life is a race did we miss the gun? Or maybe baby have you ever thought that we've Already Won? Oh sweet relief, you're lying here next to me I can feel your heart just beating and for now, that's all I'll be needing! Cuz we've Already Won Yes, we've already won We've Already Won

All Night 03:54
Seen the boats on the river Charles Made shadows on the canyon walls Sped along on the PCH Walked Paris in the pouring rain Drank wine on the Italian Coast Checked the Dead Sea for ghosts Coca tea, Lima Peru Rain Forest soaking through my shoes But That does not compare To when you're sitting there telling me You and I could stay up all night We could make love til the sunrise We could search the sky for satellites Stay in bed til the afternoon Blinking lights on the Vegas strip Big apple on a mushroom trip Double Rainbow, Niagara falls Mountain town I forget what it's called Blue springs in the Florida haze Out waiting for the perfect wave Wolves howling at a Mexican moon Fireflies rising in June Still does not compare, to when you're sitting there Telling me You and I could stay up all night We could make love til the sunrise We could search the sky for satellites Stay in bed til the afternoon You and I could stay up all night We could make love til the sunrise We could search the sky for satellites Stay in bed til the afternoon

Gone Away 03:13
What did you think, I would cut my hair? I'd forget to shave, I would just stare into space and sit and mourn the loss of you? Well I've been waking up at the ass crack of dawn Smoke a little weed, put my running shoes on And celebrate the days and the ways that i'm feeling much better Now that you're gone, gone away Now that you're gone, gone away Now that you're gone, gone away Well I've been singing songs at the top of my lungs Watching French films til the morning comes I even started painting thought I don't think it's gonna last long Now that you're gone, gone away Now that you're gone, gone away Now that you're gone, gone away I wasn't planning on taking the easy way out I heard you were worried, but you shouldn't flatter yourself Now that you're gone, gone away Now that you're gone, gone away Now that you're gone, gone away

Time Goes By 03:38
Time goes by so slowly When you're waiting to find If you did the right thing The sand just falls through the glass That surrounds you Time goes by, Time goes by Love, it find's it's way through On the day you least expect it to It comes in so many forms and stays true Love finds you, Love finds you Life starts with an empty cup And it's up to you to fill it up Time it heals so many things When you hold it you're rich as a king Don't let it fall through the cracks And leave you Time goes by, Time goes by, Time goes by
